I have a 1993 jeep Cherokee country that all the lights work but at night my brake lights are non-responsive in the day time they are fine but as soon as i turn my headlights on the brake lights stop working any ideas?

It sounds like a a bad relay. See if there is a separate relay for the taillight/stoplights and swap it with another relay to see if there is any change.

What do you mean no brakes? pedal was stiff would not press down?, pedal went to floor? That needs to be checked. if there are no fluid leaks, I would suspect the master cylinder.

disconnect the wire from the brake light switch, remove the 2 booster push rod nuts, slide out the push rod bolt.

93 jeep cherokee brake lights don't work

It's most likely the brake light switch (aka Stoplight switch) located at the upper brake pedal. Some of these are adjustable, if not it's Probably shot. If you disconnect the wire from it and jump the wire, the brake lights should go on. If they do, the switch is shot. About $25-$30 part. Curt

Front brakes locking up

Sounds like the front brake hoses went bad on you. Fluid goes into the calipers and builds up pressure, and applies the brakes, because the fluid can't come back out of the calipers. Usually when hoses go, they tear on the inside, creating a one way valve type of flap. I hope that this helped. Best wishes to ya.
