Hi, this two sensor are really important,The Torque Converter Clutch, (TCC) or swithc is what actually causes the TCC to engage and disengage. When the TCC switch receives a signal from the ECM, it opens a passage in the valve body and hydraulic fluid applies the TCC. When the ECM signal stops, the solenoid closes the valve and pressure is vented causing the TCC to disengage. If the TCC fails to disengage when the vehicle comes to a stop, the engine will stall. The Air intake temp is for the engine performance, it helps to control fuel flow, and air flow. and about the location of the torque converter it should be on the transmission but dont know exactly where and the intake air it should be on the trottle body or on the intake maniful but same thing don´t know exactly where, i wish i can help you to locate them but i don´t usually work on hyundai (no offence), but for best result go to a local parts sotre and buy a Haynes repair manual for your car i should not cost you more than 20 dollars, hope this helps you.

I have a 1998 dodge intrepid 3.2 automatic having transmission shift issues

Well, unless you want to get into rebuilding your transmission, I would recommend a filter change and adding Lucas Transmission Fix. I have seen that combo fix many troublesome transmissions. Other than that, you still could have a sticky valve in the valve body or even a worn/broken band or clutch. Basically, the TCM is telling you that it commanded a gear change and it didn't see evidence of that gear change happening hence the limp mode. If the Lucas didn't fix it, and it was my car, i would get a Power Torque transmission from Oreilley's with a 3 year unlimited mile warranty, install that an be done with it- get back to enjoying the car.

I have a 98 Ford Expedition, it starts and accelerate great but once i put into gear it dies. What could be causing this?

You need to replace the transmission you just put in. Sorry. It is not worth your money to start throwing new parts on a transmission that is potentially junk. First you have to start with a TCC solenoid, then the valve body, then the torque converter. Then when you spend all the money and time on this. You still have a junk transmission.

Does the brake light switch affect the transmission?

depends if your car has an automatic transmission if it does the brake light switch signals the transmission control module to Unlock the torque converter ,so the car does not lurch forward if brakes are applyed on fast if its a std transmission no not that im aware of

Whine from 2005 corolla automatic transmission

Have the tranny serviced with fluid change and filter, if noise it still there it is the torque converter . Have the dealer fix it ,and have it on paper with dealer invoice when it is done. Do all this before warranty expires. IT IS NOT USUAL for any car, Toyota included, to have tranny whine!!!!!

Van makes a noise when i accelerate during 1st & 2nd gears then goes away. also accelerates when i turn van on

Could very well be low fluid in torque converter or the very common automatic torque converter clutch circuit failure in many GM vehicles.

1999 dodge ram truck automatic trans may be slipping, not sure??

I think you mean they told you that you need to replace the torque converter , which transfers the torque from the engine to the trans
it could be the torque converter but also could be the bands wearing down in the trans
