2003 Dodge Caravan Front end clunk.

The vehicle clunks from the right hand side while accelerating, decelerating, and turning both left and right. I have replaced the sway bar bushing, outer tie rod, sway bar links and lower ball joints...and it still clunks.

Had this same problem within four months of purchasing used.  The dealer replaced the left outer tie rod, and here it is again, a little over a year later and the same thing is happening.  It's not like I am going off-roading in this behemoth.  Is there anything anyone knows about a recall or admission from Chrysler on a continous problem?

1997 dodge caravan shaking severely at 50-60 mph it does have a sort of clunking noise around corners. I think it is the cv driveshaft left or right or both. We are going to have the rotors turned or replaced in 2 days but I'm pretty positive it's more complicated than that. What do you think?

1997 dodge caravan shaking severly at 50-60 mph and it does have kind of a clunking noise around corners. I think from what I've been reading it is the cv driveshaft left or right or both. We are going to have the rotors turned or replaced depending on how they are. I'm pretty positive that's not the main problem. What do you think?

Had similar problem with 2003 Dodge GC. Replaced the parts you mention + rack & pinion, then to fix the now noticable whining noise, replaced power steering pump and pulley. Fortunately was under an extended warrentee at 46k miles.

Left turn signal changes speeds when turning left and makes ticking sound in steering wheel

most of the time it is a bad bulb on that side. turn on your 4 way flashers and check front and rear of the vehicle for the one not working.

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L, hear clunking near right side of vehicle while in drivers seat facing forward. More pronounced over bumps, large or small as if something is not mated properly or...

check the stabilizer bar bushings and the stabilizer bar links. They are very common to wear out and cause clunks over bumps. In an open area and just barely moving turn the wheel to the left and right fast and far enough to get the whole vehicle rocking back and forth. If you hear it under these conditions than it is 99% of the time either the links or the bushings.

2003 Dodge Neon 2.0 auto. Driving over bumps in the road I get clunk clunk clunk at the front left area. All rubber mounts, outer tie rods, quick struts are new. Any ideas on the noise? THANKS

hello, only a sugestion but I would have the suspension checked, try pushing that side of your car down firmly and let go straight away. If it bounces 2 to 3 times that is fine, if its slugish this could very well be the problem. I hope this is of some use.

2002 clunking problm

Check the macpherson struts to ensure they are not loose.  One way to check is visually in the engine compartment.  Check the top of the struts to ensure the nuts are not loose.  Another is to raise the side of the van where you hear the clunk.  Raise it so the wheel is off the ground.  Grasp and shake the strut to see if it is loose.  The struts should not be loose, but you never know.  As the strut is certainly ivnolved in bumps and rotates when the wheel turns, I would check there since you have already explored the bushings and links.
