Yesterday I was driving my 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan, I was pushing the gas pedal but it slowed down and then it stopped. After this I tried to start it again, but it don't get started. Today I tried to start it again and it started, but only for a few seconds, then it died again.
When I turn the key I can't hear a noise from the pump.
If the pump does not work, can it get started for a few seconds?

the fuel pump working good and the relay too , i change the egr valve and another valve go in the air filter and nothing . now when i put the swicth the pump start runiing and them stop them start runing alot of time . now i check in the fuel injector if i got gas them i push the little thing in the injector them push a lot of gas .... now today i go put down the gas tank i go make sure if not have a electrical problem in the fuel pump. i hope this is the problem .....
The pump is in the gas tank. On some early 90s models you could access the pump thru an access plate without dropping the tank. Otherwise you have to drop the tank and take the pump out thru the top. If you do replace it, make sure you replace the filter too.
First thing it sounds like is a Partially Plugged Fuel Filter, Chhange your Fuel Filter 1st,Its the Least expensive, If that does'nt Fix it, You could have a Faulty Fuel Pump which is in your Fuel Tank. These are the most common problems. Hope this Solves your Problem.
Have you replaced your fuel filter? how about the quality of the fuel in your gas tank? Have you tried gas dryer for the fuel tank? checked the spark plugs and/ or the ohms resistance on the spark plug wires?

bring this to a service repair center an have a fuel pressure gauge hooked up to it..it sounds like the check valve in the fuel system is allowing the gas to drain back into the fuel tank, when u press the gas pedal it commands the fuel pump to pump extra gas into the system filling the fuel rails back up with fuel allowing it to start faster....
The regulator is in the fuel tank. You must drop the tank to get to the system It is part of the fuel pump/fuel pressure regulator/fuel level sending unit. If just changing the regulator which you can,make sure you install new o-rings, put a little clean gas on them to install. Cheaper than a new fuel pump.
when was the last time it was tuned up? you need to check the air filter, and check the throttle body for black soot deposits.when you are pushing on the gas pedal you are giving the engine more air not fuel,your vehicle is fuel injected ,
