How big such i put the gap on the spark plug on a Volkswagen Jetta 2000 VR6

    i have a jetta auto V6 2000 model it has this problem of driving fo about a km and stop.after a while it starts again and does the same thing.what doi i do i vae changed the pump and fuel filter

1.1 mm is the standard gap for a platinum tipped plug. Plugs for this car usually come pre-set but it's always worth checking before installing. Hope this helps.

Volkswagen 2000 jetta 2.8 VR6 the problem is in Spark Plug Wires

Very common fault relates to poor connection on the 4 pin plug

There is a repair kit available which has a new modified connector and about 5" of loom to repair this fault

It is advise to change any offending coil at the same time as the loose wires have usually damaged it.

2000 VW Jetta VR6 My check engine light started flashing. My car was idleing very rough and missing. The parts store checked and the code showed misfire 1. We replaced the spark plugs. It runs a little...

You may have a bad coil pack - try moving two of them around and see if the misfire follows the coil pack or stays at the same cylinder. If it follows the coil pack, get a new one. If it stays in the same cylinder, inspect your spark plug wires and make sure the plug is gapped correctly.
