Battery is going dead every night with a 1.5 - 3 amp draw on my battery. I have a 1992 buick regal gs 3.8L

Car not starting all the time ? Dead battery ? explain please . Won't start after sitting ? They don't want to get into it to much , still under warranty . Factory warranty work does pay that much . You may have a parasitic draw on the electrical system . With all the computers on the vehicle , one may not be powering down draining the battery . Or something else maybe staying on . I would suggest getting a muleteer with a 10amp current option. Pull all the fuses and relays. Disconnect the negative battery cable and place the multimeter inbetween the negative battery post and the negative cable. You may get a small amp draw for the computer. Start replacing the fuses and monitor the amp draw. If you have an excessive draw when you first connect, it probably is an alternator issue.

perhaps your battery is dead?...do u have a voltmeter?..check the battery 1st

Loosen bleeder screw connect one brake bleeder tool from autozone and other shops similar. Keep posing it untill all bibles and air comes out of the brake line. Remember to refill while bleeding.

The ignition module is my second guess,but check the crankshaft sensor first.

Most likely the diode from the alternator is leaks draining the battery. If you believe your battery is good then recharge it to full level then do the followings: 1- Disconnect negative cable from the battery over night to see how weak it is in the next morning. If it is bad then it is the battery no other thing. 2- If it is good, take off wires from the alternator for a night, next day battery is still good then there is a problem with the alternator diode. Hope this can help.

check your battery if its good then you should check your alternator.
