Unless your van is different than my 2006 sl you fill it under the hood in the washer fill (passenger side). If the rear doesn't work it sounds like a clogged line.

check under the bonnet. look for white plastic container with a lid with a windscreen symbol on it. fill with windscreen washer fluid,or just water. Do not confuse with the oil filler cap or the radiator cap !
Auto Scaner The rear water pump does not pump water onto the windscreen I dont have the owners manual and dont know how to fill this rear tank up or if it runs thru from the front one
If the washer reservoir is frozen, it must have been filled with plain water. It should be filled with washer fluid. Washer fluid contains alcoholto prevent freeze up. To locate the washer reservoir, look for the filler cap, it will say washer fluid on the cap.
Dont use water. Pressurized system requires coolant/water mixture to maintain proper boiling point. Coolant is added to coolant tank you have identified, there is no direct fill to the radiator, it fills out of the coolant tank.
Do you hear a buzzing noise?if noy then its your washer pump if you do then its your washer jets are clogged up with dirt a fine needle will unblock them
You can not open the panel it self. to top the windscreen washer , face the car and you will see 2 small grills under the windscreen , remove the one to the left , you can see a small plastic bolt in the middle of it , just turn it half a turn and remove the small grill , look inside you will see the windscreen water canister , remove cap and fill with water , close cap , put the grill back , lock with the bolt , and you are done.
good luck
washer jets are clear but after the cold weather no water coming out and pump making no noise is pump knackered if so how do u get at it and is it a quick fix
i presume you mean wiper water pump... first locate the relays for the horn and rear wiper and replace them... usually found in the fuse panel under the dash... then fill up the rear water resevoir for the back wiper and try it again.
