all fuse boxes, there is not just one;
and its marked RADIO.
radio will not work (what does that mean)
100% dead
asking for code
display dead or not
or display works but all stations dead.
what.
if 100%dead it can only be 3 things
1: fuse blow , i bet
2, wire cut to radio (called power B+)
3: the radio is dead, bench test it. ask
most likely surged the system due to improper ground during jumping. check fuses. when jumping vehicle to vehicle do not ground terminal to terminal, ground to frame whenever possible
Just, get the code online for free here:
http://www.radio-code.co.uk/ford-radio-codes.html
It requires serial number of your radio.
( Or just reply / send the S/N here, I'll handle the rest of process)
Regards, vote please, Jay
Three ways to get the code. 1.check the glove for the code, there might be a white sticker with the code on it. 2.with car on and radio off. hold down 1 and 6 on radio and turn radio on while holding down 1 and 6 down. If you're luck, the radio will show you the audio SN#. The first half of the SN# will be display first and the second half will be display next. 3.you will have to remove the radio. The SN# printed on a sticker on the radio.
call your honda dealer and give them the SN# and they will give you your audio code. good luck
Go To Your local smart dealer and it will cost you £15 for them to get it from the manufacture of the radio.
Some the will have on there data base and cost £0
is this a toyota radio, and did you purchase it brand new, if you did you need to go back to the place you bought it from, and ask for the radio code on file, if you bought 2nd hand from the street, let me know and i could possibly hrelp
You will need to enter the anti theft radio lock code. I would check the manual for the operation. On my VW it was on a sticker in the truck. Also check with an Audi dealer for exact location.
