I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring 4 door sedan. The Fuse #1 under the hood ( 40 amp ignition switch ) keep blowing. The only way I found to keep it from blowing is to remove the power windows / sunroof 30Ac BRKR #19. from the fuse panel inside the car( left side ). I can also remove the Power window switch driver door and the fuse will not blow

SOURCE: removing the 2.7 engine from 2001 sebring sedan?

ok heres the simple version its alot of work
remove hood put someplace safe
disconnect all wireing and mark off with masking tape and marker
****** you need car lift ******
remove all plastic part molding from engine
find the engine hoist holes for chain to hook to
this is a unibodi design so the whole front chassis drops down
unbolt the chassis make sure to have the chasis blocked and stable
lift car while chasis stays on floor engine tranny and every thing inside hood comes down on the unibody this is how you remove an engine from a sebring

or you take to the dealer spend the doe cause you got a nice car and have it done right

SOURCE: driver side power window stopped working

The door panel is held on by plastic clips and 5 screws. 3 screws are on the bottom and 1 in the pull cup and 1 in the inner door handle. Then grab one of the corners and give a small tug, when you get some of the clips to pop out then proceed around the whole panel. To replace the panel take the clips out of the door with a fork and slide them back into the panel and then line it up on the door and use your hand like a hammer and bang the panel back on. Hope this helps

SOURCE: 2002 Chrysler Sebring Oil pressure light

Could be a bad oil pressure switch, or a bad oil pump. Both will cause this issue. Hope it is the switch b/c the oil pump is a costly repair.

Did you check the fuses under the hood? The cigarette lighter fuse is not located in the fuse box by the passenger door.

SOURCE: replace air filter 2002 Chrysler Sebring convertible

you need to loosen the clamp on the throttle body and unplug the map sensor then there are two clips on the other end pull that out and you should be able to pull the filter out you don't need to take the box off.

2002 Chrysler Sebring sedan 2.7L keeps blowing #8 20amp fuse under hood. What is causing this

You may have wires that cross each other temporarily causing either a short circuit or a higher current level than normally would occur. These problems are extremely difficult to diagnose, due to the fact that the problem is there only for a short duration of time.

How do I replace my brake light fuse?

The break light have a fuse in the fuse box. If this blows then both break lights will go out. Its usually under the hood in the fuse box or its in the panel on the right or left inside where the front doors close. Some cars have a fuse box under the steering column. If this is not the problem then it may be a break light switch. These are located just up the break petal. Its a switch that gets released when the break is pushed with your foot.

2002 chrysler sebring fuse keeps blowing for ignition wont start untill you replace fuse. what amp fuse should be in it. or what could be causeing it??

For your ignition you should use a 20-30 amp fuse. However, it sounds like you have a short somewhere. If you have a short it is not going to matter how big of a fuse you use it will keep blowing out. You best bet would be to take your car into the shop and tell them you have a short and to find and fix it. I must warn you though, shorts are very often times very hard to find, and take alot of time to find. Therefore most of the time they are expensive to fix. I know that probably was not what you wanted to here, But I hope it gives you a place to start out at. Hopefully this helps you out.
