I am wanting to change the heater core in my 2004 Suziki Forenza myself. I am looking for a maintenance manual for this model vehicle or someone with the knowledge of how the dash comes off.

You can go to any auto parts store and buy a haynes manual for your specific vehicle. they are based on a complete teardown of vehicle. the manuals are only about 20 to 25 dollars. have a good day !! ( then you will have it just in case something else goes wrong !!)

2005 Suzuki Forenza. Heater core from pipe to water pump hose.

now to remove a pipe to hose at core can be hard.
we cut them off, with sharp knife there so we DO NOT damage the core tube (nobody want to remove the whole dash ,doing this wrong)
I cut them off and replace with new.
any mech knows this so have them do it.
heater cores are very fragile. do not forget this.

Have a leak underneath back of seats two plugs leaking coolent

seems gravity is allowing the front dash, heater core to leak and run to rear.
the heater core is in the dash HVAC box,
that big ugly black monster under the dash
it has the A/C evap (cooler/dryer core) and the heater core.
the heater core or the simple 2 hoses fail and leak.
how to fix that. you or whom?????
you?
well learn to service HVAC?
pops to mind....
look and find if its the hose or core, this takes careful looking
on a hot running engine (natural pressure hot allows this to happen)
then if its just a hose, drain ENGINE coolant and cut them off, gently.
do not reef them off, hard, or you will wreck the CORE.
cut them off and put them back, and fill and burp the system.

if the core is bad.
you need to read the book first.
nobody here can guess skills or motivation. or tools you have.

the real FSM is only 4 bucks to read (posted 100s of times now)
https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Products/1027-2004-forenza-service-manual.aspx

here it is. read the manual first. and see what's up Doc.

Heater core change

The heater core is located in the passenger compartment of the vehicle, on the passenger side, under and behind the glove box.
It is replaceable without having to discharge and recharge the Air Conditioning, so be careful not to accidentally disconnect any AC connections when servicing this component. A fairly good procedure can be found at AUTOZONE.COM. Enter your vehicle info then look up heater core, then click on REPAIR GUIDES to get the procedure.

How to fix a leak on a 2005 Nissan frontier coming from under dashboard on the passenger side, it smells like coolant

Ohmigosh ! If it is coolant, feels slippery and smells like it? it is probably the heater core inside the heater case. It can't be fixed, but has to be replaced.
Look under the hood on the firewall where the two heater hoses go in-any sign there of a hose leaking? The hoses go right into tubes or pipes that are soldered to the heater core, so the hoses show you exactly where the heater core is located under the dash.
If you want to attempt changing the heater core, first buy a repair manual for the Frontier. The chapter on heating and cooling will have the heater core removal and replacement procedure, step by step. Read it and see if you want to do it-on some cars or models, it is easy, there is a cover plate to remove and then slide the core out...BUT on a lot of vehicles, the entire instrument panel has to be removed from the car to get to the heater core, a pretty big job. I have taken apart quite a few dashes and instrument panels ( and even put a couple back together), believe me, it is not for the faint hearted. So many screws to keep track of, so many electrical connections to be pulled apart, so much plastic to break. Not trying to dissuade you, just letting you know it can be a bear ! Your local library might have some repair manuals where you could find the procedure for your Frontier. Or stop in at the Nissan dealer and talk to a mechanic or parts person-they might be able to tell you if you have to remove the dash to get to the heater core.

Try to determine if it is coolant. Has enough leaked out yet that your coolant level in the radiator is low?

I need to manually change my heater over to air condition. 2004 Lancer LS

There should be a blend door behind the dash that directs air thru the heater core and evaporator core.
Look at Youtube for "lancer blend door" for a video on the repair.

Where is the heater core on my forenza and where can i buy one auot part stores donot carry them

The only place I know of to get a heater core for a Suzuki Forenza is from a Suzuki dealer or a Suzuki parts place online. After everything said an done, you will pay about $200 for an OEM heater core. Part # is 74120-85Z00.

As for the location, it's in the heater/air distributor case assembly in the dash board.

If this helps, please say so! Thanks! :-)

1996 chevy blazer, need to change the heater core. Can someone point me in the right direction or give me a diagram?

the right hand side of the dash underneath you will find a box with water hoses attached that will be the heater core, possibly look under the hood on the pass side and see if you can get to it there . probably not though. it will be difficult. go to pep boys and pick up manual for your model of vehicle will show everthing.
