Sounds like the ignition switch contacts have packed up in the ignition switch ,fit a push button type switch so its by passed the ignition switch ,pick up a 12v supply from ignition switch ignition on side ,then to switch then to starter solonoid ,although you can wire it through a relay if you want to be professional

When starting car sounds like battery was dying then did not start got a jump and started drive home turn off car and nothing no start. Got a new battery still new start got new altenator still no start...

Need more info so we can look up wiring diagram? Dodge is the make, what is year and model? Sometimes when battery voltage is lost, it can cause problems?
If starter motor won't crank the engine, check starter motor wiring circuits. Any testing at starter motor make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set. I haven't checked your security system info.
If you think the problem is the starter motor, usually you can take it off, lay it on the ground, hook up jumper cables properly from starter motor to good battery, at the least, it should kick out starter drive gear and spin.

My car wont start. I replaced my battery but it still wont start. Tested the alternator and it is good. Something might be draining the battery but not sure what?

Does the engine spin over and not start? Or turn the key and nothing happens?
New spark plugs and wires won't have anything to do with the starter and battery keeping the engine from spinning when you turn the key.
Need more specific explanation. Thanks,
Scott

Replaced the battery and the starter but the truck wont start.when u turn the key to start it nothing happens

The problem could be in the key switch, In the starter relay switch, solenoid, fuse pannel, or a fusable link. Good luck.

98 maxima wont start and it has something to do with the ac because it was going out and would only work if i hit a bump and now my car wont start and the battery, altenator are new the lights and every...

The AC is separate from the starter and the bigger problem now is the starter. If the battery is fresh and the starter connections are good, one should see a draw of 75 AMPS to 125 AMPS and hear the starter vigorously turn the engine over.

If it takes less than 1 amp and doesn't turn over, it's also a starter issue.

The AC fan is probably going bad, at the same time, causing the a/c to kick in when the fan would blow.

Hope this helps.

Car wont crank

I have a 2000 Olds Intrigue that has the starting problem that some people have spoke about. You turn the key and all lights come on but the car will not start nothing. I 1st replaced the ignition switch which did not correct the problem. To get around the problem I have connected a wire to my starter and ran the wire up to the battery and when the car acts up I take the wire touch the positive pole on the battery post and the starter will turn over. I then get in my car and use the key and start the car. I have not been stranded by the car since. I try the key a few times if nothing happens I'll wait a few minutes and if that does not do it I jump the starter with my wire. This has been working for the last 2 years. It's not a correction but it is a work around.

THE PROBLEMS IN YOUR CAR COULD BE A BAD KEY TRY ANOTHER KEY YOUR CAR HAS THE THEFT DETERRENT MODULE SYSTEM BEST TO HAVE CAR SCAN TO CHECK THE THEFT SECURITY MODULE AND THE TRANSMISSION NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH IF ITS BAD STARTER WONT WORK.ALSO CHECK THE THEFT DETERRENT MODULE RELAY. Sometimes i can't get the engine to turn over, nothing happens when i turn the key. battery is good,

Does the oil and battery lights go out or dim when you turn the key to start. If they do then you have a bad connection on the main cable going to the starter if they don't then it's most likely its the small wire on the started that's the problem. To check the small wire on the starter put the pickup in neutral take a piece of wire from the small connection on the starter and touch it to the positive of the battery the starter should turn over. If it wont turn over then the problem is in the starter if it turns over then the problem is a short circut in the wire from the key switch to the starter. The short circut could be a blown fuse or the key switch. It may be the wire itself but this is very unlikely. Cheer's
