Digital clock and cigarette lighter

I plugged in one of those small ac power converters to power a small radio which caused the digital clock and cigarette lighter to stop working , checked all the fuses their fine. Pulled off the faceplate around the radio which still works and is on the same fuse as the lighter and clock, disconnected the plug harness attached to the lighter. My question is how to go about correcting this cannot find parts online. Have not tried dealers yet, may try a junkyard but thats a long shot and you never know if the things work or not. Also any help on how to get the clock out would be appreciated.

There are three (3) fuses involved here. The one that is most likely the culprit is the 15A one in the fuse box under the hood, near the battery. Check the underhood fuse box, replace any blown fuses.

The other two fuses (also 15A) are in the interior fuse box, probably left side kick panel.

2007 Toyota Camry. Dome light, radio, cigarette lighter, horn and clock not working and all fuses are good on both fuse boxes. Any one knows why?

All of those are controlled by or influenced the BCM. You need a good auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool to check the BCM and communication to and from it.

Radio,clock cigarette lighter

lighter will most probably be on its own fuse, which in your case is blown.
radio and clock will probably be on the same fuse, which has blown.
Its important to remember that most radios have their own fuse which is found at the back of the radio.(radio will have to be removed) but try the easy fuse first (in the fuse panel

replace the bulb in the overhead light. the light cover should just pull off (may be a small clip to free it, flathead screwdriver )

Plugged in GPS in my cigarette lighter, digital clock quit working in my 2006 Toyota Sequoia. Don't see a fuse listed specifically for the clock. Is it on the same fuse as the lighter?

it is lable cig.radio.accessory.there should be a fuse bx under hood and in the car under dash glove box it will be inside the car fuse box.

Sounds like the hot wire grounded when it came out. Locate the fuse and replace the fuse for that and the radio and everything should come back on.

While using a GPS car charger there was an electrical problem which caused the cigarette lighter and the clock to stop and may be other things will not work properly . What shall I do?

check the fuse for the cigarette lighter and the clock is on the same circuit I think,do you know what caused the problem in the first place, check to see if there is a piece of something metallic(gum wrapper, etc)in the bottom of the cigarette lighter that could possibly cause a short.

Radio does not turn on. the clock shows, the light

The memory wire of the radio,(the power for the clock and channel settings) is usually connected to the same circuit as the cigarette lighter. (there is a seperate fuse for radio) Check your cigarette lighter socket for damage or dirt, etc. could be causing the memory fuse to blow. Also check your cig lighter accesories (like cell phone chargers, etc.)

P.S. The backlight is also a seperate circuit (connected to interior light/parking light circuit)

2004 corolla cigarette lighter, radio, and clock

You may have a short in the dash, i would have it checked by a mechanic, if it is a short it could cause a fire, so you should have it checked ASAP........
