Hi as well as above it can also be the lower suspension ball joint which wears and gives play - easily diagnosed as you will hear a metallic clunk over a speed bump or other bump

Yes, sounds like warped rotors.

It's either the brake rotor that is warped, or the tires are getting out of round and are not rolling evenly when the brakes are applied. Good luck on this repair.

But it only shakes when starts breaking and stop when break harder. And I only feel the shaking when start breaking at very high speed (55 or more)..

I would still say that it can be the tires above 55 mph. I had to replace some tires on my 1997 Cadillac Deville because of a similar set of symptoms.

If it was the brake rotors, you would feel the pulsation at lower speeds as well.

But, tires, if the belts are stretched irregularly, can cause the high speed shaking and cause the front end parts to wear out prematurely.

Both the rotors and tires should be good to avoid vibration at high speeds when rolling freely, accelerating, or braking. But, tires will be the most common problem besides warped rotors.

Try to go on a highway and accelerate hard to see if you feel the vibration increase at all. If it does, then the tires are at fault.

You could have the rotors machined just to make sure. When the rotor is on the brake lathe, and is being 'cut' one can see if it is warped or not when cold.

I hope this helps you out.

I'm 80% sure it's the tires based on the description and my own experience with faulty used tires.

If it were the prop, you have vibration at high speeds/out of balance. Look at the back of both wheels. If one has oil around where the rearend meets the backing plate, bad axle bearings.

1999 chevy suburban shakes when slowing down to stop and shakes when your at a speed of 55 or more

Have your tires checked out it sounds like there at around. Or possibly you through a counterweight off. Only other thing that I can think of would be the rotors being bad. However the shaking would only happen when you apply the brakes and you could feel it in your steering wheel.

MY 2003 LINCOLN L.S ENGINE SHAKES WHEN TURNED ON , DOSE NOT ACCLERATE SMOOTHLY AND WHEN I GO ABOVE 55 MILES HOUR THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES THE ENGINE LIGHT IS ON WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?

When was the last tune up? may need coil pack, plugs, air filter, oil, motor mounts could have gone bad. If you have not done any service to the vehicle a standard tune up of replacing ignition parts is key to do before troubleshooting any issue.

Good luck.

I feel vibration in the steering wheel of my 2007 Range Rover Sport when in Drive and Standing Still at a stop light

Check you motor mounts to see if the are bad. Rubber bushings that attach the mother to the frame. Sometimes these break and will cause the motor to shake.

Front end shake at 55MPH on 1997 Range Rover

If it only shakes at 55 and quits above or below that speed then it is a wheel that needs balancing. You probably lost a wheel balance weight look on the outer and inner wheel for missing weight you can usually see where it was before it fell off.
