I have the AstroStart RS415 programmed.

I have been searching 10 minutes and find nothing regarding it being compatible. Your best bet is to go to a local alarm installer and ask them to set it up. Or just try it.

2001 maxima alarm not working but panic works

ck for a fuse in the under the hood fuse box that says bsm may be blown.
Also try this.....
To reset the security system remove the negative battery cable for 30 minutes, then reconnect the cable. Next, lock and unlock the doors using the remote. This will reset the alarm system and the engine will start and fobs reset.

Here are some factory notes....FYI

Anti-Theft Systems

PROGRAMMING

NOTE: If a new Smart Entrance Control Module (SECU) is installed, a new identity code must be entered and all remote controllers must be programmed. If identity code cannot be entered, repair multi-remote system. See appropriate MULTI-REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEMS article.

PROGRAMMING > PROGRAMING NEW ID CODE

NOTE: This procedure will erase all previous identity codes and render all previously programmed remote controllers inoperative (until reprogrammed). All remote controllers to be used with system must be programmed at the same time. A maximum of 4 remote controllers can be programmed. Any attempt to program more than 4 controllers will be ignored. If same identity code is entered more than once, entry is ignored even though hazard warning lights will still flash twice.
1. Close and lock all doors. Erase original identity code(s) by inserting and completely removing key from ignition switch more than 6 times within 10 seconds. Hazard warning lights should flash twice. Turn ignition switch to ACC position.
2. Push any button on new remote controller once. Hazard warning lights should flash twice, indicating identity code has been entered. If identity code cannot be entered, repair multi-remote system. See appropriate MULTI-REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEMS article.
3. For each additional remote controller to be programmed, manually release door lock and lock again by using door panel switch and repeat step 2. If no additional remote controllers are to be used, exit programming mode by unlocking and opening driver's door.

Please let me know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed. Happy mew Year!

I have a 2003 hyundai sonata and i dont have the remote for the stock alarm. My alarm keeps going off and my car wont start. I bought a new battery and even tried the key in the door still no luck.....

The 2003 Sonata is equipped with a 'starter KILL' burglar alarm system with disables the starting system (using a N/C 'contacts' configuration instead of a N/O contacts configuration). N/C=Normally closed, and N/O=Normally open contacts. When the alarm goes off with a MY Sonata, the only way to DISARM it is with the key fob (remote) originally programmed for it (unless you purchase a new remote & have it programmed for the vehicle at an authorized Hyundai Service Department). NOTE: So long as the keyless entry & burglar alarm system is functioning/operating normally, the alarm will keep going off and the STARTER KILL function will still prevent you from starting the vehicle. One option is left without purchasing a new remote and having it programmed.
1. When the alarm goes off, get into the vehicle and insert the ignition key into the ignition.
2. Turn the key to the 'RUN' position (NOT the ACC position) and wait for the alarm to STOP (usually about 3 to 5 minutes).
3. The engine should then start using the ignition key.

If this procedure doesn't work, the problem will need further diagnosis by a qualified/certified Hyundai Service Technician.

Hope this helps

1996 vw jetta built in alarm lost remote control car will not start

The alarm is doing what it is suppose to do, disable the car if taken by a unauthorized user. You prove you are authorized by having the remote. You don't have the remote, you are not authorized. Simple.

How to solve: Get a new remote or kill the alarm and loose the protection it provides.

1996 Grand Cherokee keyless entry problem

That remote should not be able to  be programmed by you, it needs to be programmed by the dealer using their computer.  I know that some later and earlier models can be programmed by the user, but I did some research on this as i have a 96 as well and it seems the 96 was a dealer computer thing.  If you in fact bought the remote from the dealer they should be willing to program it for FREE.  Otherwise I was given a $30 estimate for the programming.
