What is the yellow light. In the gas display window

This is the master warning light. It is a warning that another light is lit or a condition has occurred that requires review by the driver. If there is a driver information window a message may be displayed.

Example of other conditions depending on the car is:

• Low tire pressure
• low window wash
• Low fuel warning

A round yellow light? No pattern on it?
The only light with no pattern on it is the low fuel warning light in the gas gauge face.

Hi, I assume you're talking driver's window. If not, please get back to me.
pull up your switch, take connector off and hotwire the connector.
motor wires are yellow and white/black stripe.
power is yellow/light green stripe

so connect the yellow to yellow/light green and white/black stripe to ground, key on. this might be up or down--not sure.

if it is down, then connect white/black stripe to yellow/light green stripe and yellow to chassis ground, key on--should go up.

try reinstalling gas cap.
if gas capisnt screwed on properly the car will give yellow light warning.
It may take a few cycles of turning on car , driving it, then turning off car to correct light
