Audi 80 convertible power hood problem

I have a 1992 V6 2.6L Audi coupe and my power hood has stopped working.
The roof lifts, the rear windscreen area lifts to allow the parcel shelf to open for the hood to fold into the space below and thats where it all goes wrong.
The parcel shelf releases but wont raise.
Any suggestions please?

    Mine just stoppedopening at once, affraid of paying stupid money to fix it. One friend good with these things will look for free. What shall he look for? Dulce

    audi a4 cabrio 2.6 engine code abc roof top opens and the rear of the roof as well... the latches release but the flap does not open... have a fault code 'luggage compartment switch lock' can someone tell me where that switch is located

Just had same problem on 1994 2.6e audi dealer found it to be a solinoid behind driver side panel took 3 days to find fault, also check fluid level

Want to convert my electric audi 80 roof into a manual one
no need to convert.
the electic roof can be opened manually by:-
unlock the roof using the handle on top of the windscreen and push roof back as far as posible.
lift flaps adjacent to door pillers
you will see a small lever which can be retracted (both sides)
when these levers are retracted the roof will push down fully into its compartment
when erecting the roof ensure that the two levers are fully open to accept the roof retaing lugs

My convertibe Audi A4 roof is not closing, it stopped 3/4 way, what do i do, i have tried pressing the buttons, back and forth?
Look in owners manual,it will show you how to raise/lower roof with tool end of dash driver side
Once you have the tool the best way to reset roof is to manualy lower it and lock rear cover
Two people helps to lower as you have to lift front of roof and lift rear
When rear metal cover is unlocked push roof fully down and lock cover
The roof should then work with the switch

Audi 80 1994; lifting part of sunroof will not retract fully. Stops about half an inch short. Motor still working - just will not shut fully.
PULL DOWN THE FLAT PANEL IN THE SUNROOF MOTOR AND WIND IT CLOSED BY HAND USING THE KEY IN THE TOOLS....

Where is fuel pump relay in audi 80 ?
Hi there...if your audi is a B4 same as mine....fuse and relay box is located under the engine hood, driver side ....if you are italian....or passenger side side ..if you from Uk....just lift the hood, and check below the windshield in the gutter ...you'll see a black plastic box...here you go!
lift the lid...look for a grey box with the # 209 (if I recall correct..) ...that is your fuel pump relay...easy to replace.

Where is the catch??
the button is in the drivers door frame when the door is open there should be a button next to the locking catch. if this does not work the two flaps either side of the hood cover can be lifted up and a hex head allen key can be used to unlock the catches either side of the cover. i've had a problem with the button not working due to electrical problems locking the boot as the cover will not lift with the button if the boot is not locked to prevent damage.

Manually retract convertible roof on 95 cabriolet
Open roof latch over windshild.
Raise rear of roof off of hatch
Lift little hatch tabs to access lift mechanism
Release latches on each side with fingers
Lift Hatch with free hand
Let roof fall into storage compartment
Click hatch shut.
Reverse proceedure to put back up.
