I have a 2003 Honda Crv with all wheel drive. The steering wheel shakes when the wheel is turn to the extreme positions left or right. I have topped off the fluid level which was low when I first noticed the problem. It helped a little, but did not remedy the problem. Dennis Goleta, CA

start your cr-v and let idle for 10 or so seconds in park. shut it off and check the fluid with in 30 seconds. if you check the fluid running it will read low and get overfilled. level ground is also important.

Get a can of carburetor cleaner and spray it into the throttle body while the car is running.

Check for a leak somewhere, start at the power steering pump and trace the hoses down to the steering box/rack and pinion and the connections. Have somebody turn the wheel back and forth slowly while your looking.

yes but the pump is fine as long as the steering is easy. if it isnt easy to turn then replace the pump or it could destroy the belt

check the resevoir for fluid level and check the tension on th p/s belt.
