Get the cabin air filter of ur endeavor changed by following method.
Procedure to Remove the Old Cabin Filter First off, you need to open the glove compartment; you'll see two screws on top of the glove compartment and two at the bottom of it.

Remove each one of them one by one with the help of a Phillips screwdriver, and then unhook the stop bar which you can find on the right side of the glove compartment .

Next, pull the glove compartment out - while pulling the glove compartment out we disconnect the light wire .

Now, you should be able to see two tabs on both sides of the cabin filter which we press towards the middle of the compartment and then we remove the cabin filter cover . After this, slide the filter out of the housing .

Putting the New Filter In Place Now, you can easily insert the new filter in the filter housing making sure the "up" arrow printed on the filter points towards the roof of the Endeavor and then we replace the cabin filter cover.

Next, insert the glove compartment back into the dash and while it is half way through you need to reconnect the light wire.

Finally, reconnect the stop bar over the hook and finally replace the four screws to hold the glove compartment firmly in place. And, that's it - you've just learned how to change cabin filter in Mitsubishi Endeavor.

On my 2008 endeavor I had exactly the same problem. there is a recall on the HVAC and airflow door lever as it first stages of problem goes anywhere but where you aim the airflow. Second stage, no air anywhere when the door lever finally wears out.

    see info below)
OCTOBER 2010 -- Mitsubishi is recalling certain model year 2006-2008 Endeavor with manual air conditioning. Due to an incorrect heater (HVAC) controller signal, the air flow from the air vents may randomly change direction and/or the temperature may briefly cycle between hot and cold. This condition could affect defroster performance, resulting in poor windshield visibility and potentially cause a crash. Dealers will inspect for damage and if necessary repair the mode door shaft free of charge. The safety recall is expected to begin during December 2010. 10V-514

2014 Honda CRV. The problem is after 20 min. of air flow it stops flowing, but the fan is still working and I still have heat and AC but no air flow out the vents

Is the air blowing out of the defrost or heater vents? My thought is it has to be going somewhere if the blower is on, so it would likely be a faulty climate control unit or blend door motor shifting it to the incorrect position. If I can assist further, reach me at https://www.6ya.com/thericepatch

1997. Is it possible to run defrost without automatic switch on the air conditioning?

disconnect the wire to the ac compressor
However defrost works quicker if the ac is running as well as the heater as it removes the humidity from the cabin air ---main reason for fogging up--

That's not unusual if you have a lot of people in the car. I will fog up because the glass is colder then the warm moist air hitting it, so the water condenses on the glass. Two ways to solve this issue. First open the windows a small amount to get rid of the warm air and introduce some cold air. OR second, set your defroster from full hot to slightly on the cool side with air circulation from the outside as well (i.e blend air as opposed to only cabin air)..

Fogged up windows

Are you using the fresh air option ?
If you are, you could have excessive moisture inside the cabin. Running the hvac on defrost should kick on the ac compressor and bring in fresh air too.

Windows fog up

There is too much moisture inside the cabin. Either something is leaking water into the car, or your fresh air setting is not working on the hvac system. You can not run the system on recirculate and get rid of the moisture.

If your car has an air conditioner turn it on as well as the heater . Air conditioned air is very dry and usually defrosts the windscreen quickly. The heat from the heater will overcome the cold air from the air/con. It is good for the air/con to be run during the winter months as well as summer, it stops the seals drying out and leaking refrigerent.

Why my window is fogging whe i turn the heater ?? i recently bought my toyota carina 3 model 1994 but the window is fogging , what should i do?

Make sure the vent system is set to draw air from outside. If it is set to recirculate the same air that's inside the vehicle without drawing fresh air from outside, the resulting humidity that builds up inside the vehicle can fog the windows even when you run the defrost. You can also try opening the windows a bit to get some more air moving inside.
If it still fogs when the vents are set properly, you may have a leaky heater core. The heater core is a small radiator that is located under the dash that the heater system blows air through to heat the inside of your car and provide heat to defrost the windshield. The fog may be coming from the heater core leaking hot coolant steam that's being circulated through the defrost system. If this is so, you will need to replace the heater core.

99 Grand Am GT windows fog up

Fog on the windows is caused by moisture in the air condensing on the cold glass. You probably knew that. So the solution to your problem is to reduce the humidity in the car or warm the glass above the dewpoint. Running the AC will help because any moisture in the air will condense on the much colder evaporator coils before it gets to the windows, but as soon as you turn the AC off that moisture goes right back into the air. Fresh air from outside will help if the moisture level in the outside air is lower, which it ussually is in the winter. The only sure solution is to warm the glass.
You may want to check a service manual and see if there is an air filter somewhere in the cabin heat plenum. If so you may want to replace it. Defrosters and side vents should provide plenty of warm air to clear all windows and it sounds like your just not getting enough air flow. If you're not really into getting behind the dash and tinkering with the heater plenum, you might consider a small 12 volt heater like the ones available at auto parts stores, or you could just let the cabin warm up well before driving. There are also glass treatments that you can use to prevent fogging, I used one for years on a motorcycle helmet, These are ussually a wax and or soap base so they have to be cleaned off and reapplied periodically, but they do work well.
