Can someone help me with my 06 2.4L Accord... In short its been for a swim, so far I have replaced and coded a new ECU, replaced all blown fuses and got the engine runing, yipeeee, but I cant get the drive by wire to work. As far as I can tell there is no power at the throttle body?????, however I have power at the TPS at the cable. My question is does anybody know where the throttle body gets its power supply from????????does it have a fuse???? or is it powered from the ECU????.. it also has a low voltage code in the ECU.....
Thanx Ron
Curious if u ever got it figured out I have a 07 accord 2.4 that i done the same to bc water got in the ecu and burnt it up I orderd a new ecm and ignition with key got it running and now i have like 7 codes and they are all sensors rocker arm bank 1 vvt solenoid mass air flow and a few more im thinking one of the plugs on the ecm may not be getting a good connection or something
Not 100% sure, but I think it gets power from ecu, and feedback from the position sensor.

Go to any auto parts store and you can use the meter to see what code it comes up with, The meter has the codes on it and will tell you why the check engine light is coming on.

The Owners Manual walks you through it step by step.
If your missing the manual, swing by your Dealerships Service Drive, most Service Advisors would be happy to show you how to do it.
You can also order a new Owners Book at www.helminc.com directly, even have it mailed to your home. If you order it at the dealership, they get it from the same place, mark it up and you have to go get it yourself.

yes, this is the case of a failed throttle body, in which case it needs replaced, the car is getting too much fuel causing the high idle. this needs replaced asap. you could proably find a small independant honda shop that could do the work for less.
