Windows and power locks does not work.

Suddenly all the power windows power and the power door locks stopped working including the sun roof. Where is the common thread to disable all those features? Audi A4 Quattro

    53 plate a4 with same problems it happened last winter when windows froze up checked fuses but there is a relay or something to reset does anyone know and if so where to locate it thanks

Power locks doesnt work

I would definitely check the fuse panel (left side of the dash next to the driver's door). Inside the panel should be a list of fuse locations and ratings. Do you have an owner's manual? It should have the list, too. If this is not the problem, please post a comment here!

In the fuse panel on the inside check the larger fuse marked 'POWER' it supplies voltage to the windows, sunroof and also the power door locks.

sorry dont know what you mean ? what windows work and sunroof ?. there is a relay for front doors and one for the back doors, sun roof is a control board fitted to the switch.

My power window and door locks don,t work.
Try putting direct power to you're window motors and the power locks if everything moves and actuates, u can eliminate those items. also make sure you are getting power to you're switches, u may have a bad wire a bad connection or it may b grounded out. You could also just have a bad switches.

There is a relay in that car that ties into each of those systems. If you replace it they should go back to working normal.

It may be a circuit breaker.My windows and door locks stopped working,even after checking all fuses and replacing Main Driver side door switch! Found three circuit breakers that you can reset with a paper clip or small screwdriver. They were black with an aluminum cover on top. They don't come out easily,just insert the pin on each one.
