I have a 1991 chevy pickup with a 5.7 350 the problem is that it turns over but wont start the the truck has fire no fuel the pump will come on if we run a wire to fuel pump dirrectly to hotwire .i have tried starter fluid but get nothing the spark i get is blue but its looks alittle week shouldnt it try to start what are some other things that it may be

Does or did the check engine light come on? When you had the fuel pump hotwired did it or will it - start the motor and run? If yes to first question then have the codes read. Did you check all fuses and relays for the fuel pump.Check fuel pump pressure once you get the fuel pump working.And if you feal the spark is weak then replace the ignition coil, check distributor cap and rotter replace if nesessary.And there is a little discrepency in your add I do not know if I am dealing with a 91 or a 98 chevy?
