The air suspension is not blowing up the air bags. The compressor is working and appears fine. Their is a canister that looks like an oil filter with one air inlet and two air outlets. We put air preasure in the single inlet hole but nothing is coming out the other side which is the outlet side to the system.

Could be a leak in the system or a tear in one of the airbags (which is what I had). I had to have one air shock replaced.

Sounds like the seals may have failed in the air shocks themselves. I also think you may have a bleeder valve problem. Follow the lines back and check the bleeder valve to see if it is leaking when you have someone else turn the vehicle on.

1. make sure the switch is on (under the passenger side dash board). 2. check to make sure the relay is good (black little box under the right front bumper. 3. there are two (that I know of) switches/sensors.  1 is behind the left front tire.  The other is up behind the spare tire.  Taking the spare tire off gives you tons of room to work with.  The sensors look like mini shock absorbers with black rubber and can be compressed and pulled easily by hand.  Moving those will simulate the suspension going up and down and should trigger the compressor. 4. if the compressor doesn't come on (and all the above is fine) it sounds like your compressor is bad and should be replaced.  I got one from Arnott Industries in Florida and they have been very nice to work with so far.

If the compressor is working and actually pumping out air, might need to check your lines dont have a leak by disconnecting them from the bags. If pressured air is making it to the end of the line, then bags may need to be inspected and one or both replaced. However it is more likely that the lines are leaking or the compressor pump needs a service. Just a new set of rings in the unit. Good luck, hope it helps.

SOURCE: my air suspension compressor is

It sounds to me like your compressor got killed. What probably happened is that the airbag got a hole or tiny crack in it so the compressor has to work extra hard because it is like blowing up a balloon with a hole in it. Therefor the airbag killed the compressor. I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at our conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. I added the link below so you can check it out.

Air bag suspension system wont inflate on 1992 lexus ls 400

The first thing to check would be the compressor, check all fuses and see if compressor is running.

i can tell you that most air bag systems develop a leak in the bags and the problem is not fixed inturn the air compressor runs so much to fill leaking bags that it over heats and destroys the compressor. most of the time the compressor fuse will blow, so check fuses first and then compressor. I have never seen a 1992 lexus with air bags.

1998 crown vic air suspension compressor does not pump.

Sounds like the problem is in the air bag suspension, not the compressor. The air bags shouldn't be losing air when the car sits. The compressor adjusts the suspension level according to the load. The air bags have a valve similar to a blow up raft that allows air to pass through both ways. If when the car is running the compressor is constantly running and not turning off, the issue is within the air bags and/or the air line.

Range rover problem air bag suspension

I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at our conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. Airbags and compressors are constantly having to be replaced. Also something alot of people don't know is that theses air suspensions are not meant to be in temperatures above 90 Degrees or below 40 Degrees. That is most of the world. The temperature will cause you to replace alot of bags. and typically when your replacing a bag you are going to have to replace the compressor to because the bag had a hole or small crack in it causing the compressor to over work and it will die. I posted the link below so you can take a look

your air compressor may not be working, or the air springs (air bag suspensions) may be leaking air.
