Same as above, air compressor comes on, but doesn't inflate. I haven't heard anything about the switch, where is that located exactly?

I had the same problem yesterday. All of a sudden the front of the car seemed higher than the back, and I thought I had a flat. When I got out the driver side rear body was higher than the passenger side. I could hear the compressor, and it kept running after I turned the car off. I had a bumpy ride.

I took it in and they said one airbag was deflated and the second was badly cracked. I replaced both for $1100. Merry Christmas to me! Now it is running great and no compressor sound.

Your vehicle has three height sensors. 1 at each front wheel and 1 in rear on passenger side. Check to make sure the rod haven't fallen off of rear sensor. The sensors are a common repair. After replacement you might need to run a recalibration of all height sensors. You can command the pump to turn on with a jumper wire at the 2 fat wires at compressor. Use a thick wire or it will burn out. Usually when 1 sensor fail the rest should be replaced also

Also those trucks are known for 'door ajar' if all doors are not closed the truck will not reach ride height.

Sounds like the seals may have failed in the air shocks themselves. I also think you may have a bleeder valve problem. Follow the lines back and check the bleeder valve to see if it is leaking when you have someone else turn the vehicle on.

Air bag pump is running, new airbags . rear bags wont air up.

These Lincoln air suspensions are terrible. I have converted many over to coil springs at a fraction of the cost of replacing/repairing the bags. If the rear bags don't inflate, there is a broken air line to the bags or the bags are leaking

2001 ford expedition rear air suspension problems, 5.4 automatic,

check the ride height air valves as I suspect that there may be a problem there . When parked the valves will be sealing off correctly but when in use as in driving the constant variations may be letting more air out than the valve will be letting in to maintain ride height

Compressor come on but bags doesnot inflate

If You are referring to the Air suspension System then You Have a Leak in the Line diverter Bell, It look like a bell with 5 r 6 1/4 in Plastic Lines coming out of it, try Spraying it With Soapy Water to see any air Bubbles, if this is the Case replace the Bell or the O-rings on the Lines, or both ,also Check the Lines going into the suspension Bags, If the Bags themselves Have any Cracks in them then You need to replace the Bags, Fairly Expensive, and Unless You are a Tech Dont try this @ Home since Major Bodily Injury can Occur, If Not following the Correct Procedure's to replace the Bag Suspension SYStem

Air bags suspension won't inflat. Checked all fuses & air suspension switch. What can the problem be?

Probably failed seal or air bag leaking air. Check again and try to see if this will do the trick. Sometimes pvc line could fail to deliver air to the bag too!

I Have a 1999 Ford Expedition(Eddie Bauer) and I cannot find out why The Rear Suspension Air bags wont inflate. The bags don't have any Leaks, I'm assuming the compressor is working because the front of...

I believe it has to b reset / retrained by dealer or mechanic who has ability to read what the vehicle is or isn't doing. If you don't hear the compressor running constantly, you most likely don't have a leak, basically it'll run long enough to level up the vehicle and you shouldn't hear it again. try and dissconnect the battery, for a minute or so try it again.

2001 Navigator rear suspension sagging. While

It sounds like one of your air bags could have blown. I would check them first. I would also suggest checking into a replacement non air conversion kit from Strutmasters. I replaced the air system on my 2002 Navigator and saved a lot of time, money and headaches. The lines on my navigator had holes in them and I replaced the compressor twice before I realized it. Very costly. Avoid all the hassle and check out Strutmasters.

My 2001 Ford Expedition looses air in the rear air bags after i cut it off. I don't hear any air leaks or anything! What can be the problem?

the air bags release air after it sits. The rear raises back up after starting engine, if you add weight, it raises up even more to compensate for level suspension. It should be fine unless it's sitting almost on thr ground, but it does release air and sit lower.

I cant find where the air suspension sytem is on my 1996 ford crown vistoria. The air bags on the rear tires will not inflate

make sure its turned on, the switch is in the trunk. The compressor is in RF area ahead of RF tire, the fuse which may be blown is in the fuse box at RF wheel under the hood. if the fuse is blown, its because the compressor has run too long trying to pump up the air bags which are leaking. it may need the bags and compressor, there are several companies that make springs for the rear to replace the bags.

Rear air suspension isnt working.

IF YOU HEAR COMPRESSOR TURNING ON THATS GOOD. THE MOSE COMMON PROBLEM IS BEHIND BATTERY THERE IS A PLASTIC LINE WITH A UNION TO CONNECT THEM,THE UNION BREAKS AND BAGS WILL NOT INFLATE IN REAR. YOU CAN GET UNION AT A DEALERSHIP AND SIMPLE TO INSTALL THE LINES BACK TOGETHER,MAYBE ALSO A LEAK AT THE BAGS IF IT INFLATES AND SINKS AFTER SITTING A WHILE. WITHOUT MORE INFO THATS WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER.
