1999 Millenia: I used portable air pump to inflate tires. Pump stopped working because cigarette lighter stopped working. Is it the lighter (if so, how do you replace) or is there a fuse somewhere (fuse box is under hood). Where can I buy parts.

Your Mazda definitely has a safety fuse controlling the cig. lighter...Review your manual for fuse block location...(sometimes more than one:) the fuse diagraham in the manual should help find the specific fuse...labeled cig. lighter...:) You may find some extra fuses in your glove box kit...if not, they are available at most Auto Parts stores...

Why I hook up things to my cigarette lighter like portable heater or portable air pump for tire and it blows out?

This can be because of a few reasons and the main one been there is a short with the wiring somewhere you would have to start at the cigarette lighter and try to work you way back to the fuse box or if you have a volt -meter or multi-meter you can check using one of them to see if you have a short , I am not sure of the fuse rating for your lighter but make sure you are using the right one ( probably around 25 to 30 amps) But as I said most likely you will find a short

Used cigarette lighter to inflate tire, left inflater on for a long time now cigarette lighter doesn't work and car doesn't always start

It sounds like you might have drained your battery! When the car is running does the Cigarette lighter produce power? It should be working while the car is running. That would also explain why the car starts sporadically. Try leaving the car on for 40 minutes. That might charge the battery enough.

Cigarette lighter while i am inflate one of the tire using it. stop working suddenly?

Looks like you overloaded and blew the cigarette lighter fuse while using a 12v tire inflator pump. Check the fuse and replace it.

did you use a test light this would be the primary source for an accessory not to work unless the wires to the connector on the back side of the lighter itself has come undone or it may very well be the ground to it you need to visually inspect it a mirror may be of assistance to have a look if you cannot bend under neath the dash maby you can remove the ashtray to better view it

Lighter dont work

change the fuse anyway, the test might show ok but often it will not pass a heavy current.try this first before you start pulling the dash out to get at the socket.

so you replaced a blown fuse to the cigar lighter and it still dosent work?.. then the wiring was compromised before the fuse blew..you need to repair bad wiring to cigar lighter and/or lighter itself internally melted /failed due to your air pump asking for more electricity than the cigar lighter could deliver..once repaired do not use the air pump there again ..good luck
