2001 daewoo has hard shift into first gear! What could this be. The car has no dip stick to check the fluid level so i dont know if I need fluid. It only does it in first. It also high revs in park.

I would guess its low on oil do to the age of the vehicle more then likely the seals are drying out and you have a slow leak transmission oil is vary thin oil .
Look for drips and oil at the points ware any shaft goes into the transmission.
It dosen't have a dip stick but mid way on the transmission their will be a plug remove this and fill it up till it starts to flow out so fill it to the plug level .
Then take it to a shop and get it serviced its like 100 bucks or plan on getting a new vehicle

How much oil do I put in my car 19 00 cc

1. Turn off engine ,
2. Take of oil cap on engine
3. Put in a little oil in oil filler hole of engine.
4. then pull out the oil dip stick from engine
5. and clean the dip stick on a rag.
6. Put dip stick back in engine
7. pull out again and check the level showing on the dip Stick
8. If level is too low on dip stick and is not at full level go back to step 1

These steps ensures you avoid over filling the engine with oil

Tip for beginners
The 4 litre oil bottle is way too much oil for an engine to handle.
If you have a full 4 litre oil plastic bottle square shape . hold the bottle on its side to pour the oil out slowly and smoothly.

How to do a oil change

Pull the drain plug, change the oil filter, replace the drain plug. Add oil until the dipstick reads full. Start the engine and make sure the oil light goes out. Check for leaks around the oil filter with the car running. Recheck the oil level, add as necessary. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Can't find where to add transmission fluid in a 2006 all wheel drive equinox

I am unfamiliar with exact car, however, It is not unusual for transmission oil to be put in via the the transmission dip stick tube - do not confuse it with the engine oil dip stick tube. Do it slowly and make sure you dont over fill or you will eventutally blow your transmission box seals or worse. Let the oil settle before checking levels too because it is easy to misread the dip stick when you have used the dip stick tube to fill oil in.

How to refill oil in transmission for Dodge caravan 1995 (automatic transmission)?

You refill the transmission through the dip stick tube. Make sure you don't over fill the transmission though, that's just as bad as having low transmission fluid levels.
