Hi,
Don't spend your time removing something that is not relevant to the problem.
The hose can be pulled easily from underneath of that washer reservoir.
First thing is to find out why the washer fluid leaks, look for the cause of the leak.
If the leak is in the reservoir, just remove the reservoir and check it.
If the problem is in the hose line, remove the hose from the "Y" connection between the two washer nozzle and pull the hose from the main outlet of the tank washer.

Hope that clears up everything!
Thanks for using Fixya!

My windshield wiper fluid will not go thru to windshield, how can i fix the problem

Your line runs from the reservoir in the fender well, up through the hose around the strut plate on top, through the bezel to the wipers. If you have no leaks, Replace the washer motor. If you fill it and it leaks, fix the leaks. To access the reservoir. Remove the tire and inner fender well on the passenger side.

99 zr2 heater will not blow on the floor....thanks hdp

If it is only blowing on the windshield, that is the default postion. The reason they do this is so you can drive if there is a problem with the HVAC system, at least your windshield should be clear.
If it is only blowing on the windshield, you may have a vacuum leak under the hood. Check the left side under the hood, near the vacuum booster. There are vacuum hoses in that area, make sure one didn't fall off, or is split causing a vcauum leak. Ther emay also be a vacuum tank in the fender right there, that a hose may have come off.

Removing the windshield washer reservoir in a 2002 Chrysler T&C

REMOVAL

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

Leaking windshield washer fluid resivour

I had a similar problem. My first thought was that the reservoir was leaking but there were no holes in it. Then I noticed that the fluid hose had come off the hose junction fitting (above the passenger side fender -- hard to reach without taking off the panels) and fluid was siphoning out. Later on the hose came off again, and so when I had it in the shop for some other maintenance I asked the guys to look at it. They told me there was a pressure problem with the reservoir pump which was causing the hose to disconnect. They changed out the pump and it's been working fine now.
