I have a 2001 Dodge Durango RT. This morning I started my vehicle, put it in gear, it made a loud noise and it won't move backward or forward. I called the dealer and they said it might be the shifting solenoid or control module. Yes? No? What do you think?

2000 Dodge Durango 5.2L V8 starts but won't run

By run - do you mean it dies when you put it in gear? Or that it just bogs down when you attempt to accelerate or drive away?
..
A plugged Catalytic converter will cause this. So will a Bad MAP or MAS (Mas Air ) sensor. So will a bad TPS (Throttle Position) sensor.

How come my 99 dodge durango wont move in gear. all of a sudden it woudnt move when i shifted it into gear . nobody seems to have an answer

most likely if this happened all of a sudden your gear shift cable is bad or had become detached if the shift er inside the truck feels very easy to move between gears it is the cable and the track has not showed signs of a bad transmission in the recent past see link Dodge Durango shift cable the easiest way to repair Kit includes...

2001 Durango front drivers power seat lost power and what move what is the problem?

If the seat has recline and forward, backward controls and you can do nothing at all. Then I would say you may have blown a fuse. I would check the fuse box. If you lost only recline or only forward & backward then it may be a bad motor. It can also be a motor if you lost both but both motors going bad at the same time is unlikely.
