Why take it to the dealer , find a local independent repair shop . Replacing a sensor and the problem comes back in a couple days means it wasn't the sensor in the first place . Knowing how the computer systems work on these vehicles is very important . Some problems after the check engine light is turned off , by clearing the codes with a scan tool , won't set for a couples day's because it is a two trip code . The vehicle has to sit over nignt , started an ran till fully warmed , then let sitting over night again. The computer has temp sensor inputs an knows this .
What codes did your
mechanic find ? P0420 - P0430 ? These are codes for Catalytic converter

had problems with the acceleration , your vehicle has electronic throttle control controlled by the PCM/ECM - engine computer ! There are position sensors in the gas pedal assembly an the throttle body . After time these sensors wear causing acceleration problems . All vehicles starting back in 2004 have this .
Electronic Throttle Control Ford , GM , Chrysler ,toyota , BMW etc... They all wear .
That car sounds like it has too many problems.
If it were me, I would not waste anymore money and time
on it and find another vehicle if possible.

check your MAF sensor, if it's dirty clean it then reset your check engine light again. this should work.

YEAH MAN I KNOW WHAT YOU ME, THOSE DARN COMPUTER ARE WAY TO SMART.. THERES NOTHING WRONG, BUT YOU CAN TAKE THE TRUCK TO A GM DEALER AND THEY CAN FLASH THE COMPTUER, BUT THE ONLY DOWNFALL IS THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL NEVER WORK AGAIN.. SO ITS YOUR CALL..GOOD LUCK KEITH..
SOURCE: CATALYTIC CONVERTOR - BANK 2
You have a V6 engine, bank one is the row of cylinders on the passenger (right) side, bank two is the row of cylinders on the drivers side (left). Your codes indicate an inefficiency in the cat on the left side but this could be due to a bad O2 sensor or an engine that is out of tune and overloading the cat. This car seems too new to have a bad cat. I would change the plugs and the O2 sensor after the cat before going any further. The reason I say the O2 after the cat, it's the one that is critical in sensing cat efficiency. What is the mileage?

I would suggest checking your Oxygen sensor which will light up your service emission light. Check that and let me know Good luck
