having the transmission rebuilt in 2010 means that the tranny is 7 years old since service so there can be any amount of faults
run the fault codes to check for problem TCM, VSS, servos and solenoids
check the vacuum actuator for the transmission and vacuum lines
change the transmission oil
the engine light also reports on transmission failures
If I'm correct when you say **** your referring to a clunk or lift felt when you put in gear. This would most likely be either a broken transmission or motor mount.
Sounds like the transmission is trashed to me. You might try flushing the transmission fluid a couple times to see if that can help the problem (I would have it done with an actual transmission flush machine)
Other than that, all I can say is DIG DEEP my friend!
CODE PO732 THAT IS GEAR 2 INCORRECT RATIO.FAULT IN TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR.PROBLEM IN SHIFT SOLENOID OR RELATED PRESSURE SWITCH.PROBLEM IN TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY.ALSO CHECK TO MAKE SURE TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL IS CORRECT.
In your owners manual there is a phone number to file a complaint to the corporation. Do that first of all. I owned a Hyundai that did very strange things although I had strange braking problems which was repaired at a shop of my preference and was reimbursed. The problem with yours has to be an internal transmission problem. Nothing will be found unless the transmission is removed and completely torn apart for inspection. More than likely a brass bushing is egged out making the trans to act so eractic
\'93 Hyundai Lantra, automatic transmission has trouble changing up from 1st to 2nd, it tends to rev on a bit, clunks once or twice before changing to 2nd, other gears seem to be ok. Oil levels are ok and have recently replaced the transmission oil (yes the correct oil was used)
P1529 means nothing more than the TCM (transmission control module) has
requested that the ECM (engine control module) turn on the check engine
lamp. P0734 basically indicates that your transmission is slipping. You need to take this car to an authorized repair center for hyundai cars. Replacing the filter and fluid on the transmission might save this transmission but I would be willing to bet that a total transmission rebuild is in order.
