Car bought used, found Interior light fuse in ashtray. The lights stay on, I tried the key in both driver in passenger door in case switch stuck. Key works ok. The dashboard Light control Panel "Panel/Int" "Traction control" is loose, but the functions seem to work, Just can't turn off the lights. Any Relay I can check?
Had same problem on my 2002 Buick Lesabre. Lights would not turn off. I noted there was no "door ajar" message and all doors would generate the door ajar message properly. So I turned my research to the lighting switch on the inside panel. I pulled the switch out. Was easy in my 02 buick lesabre. Then I pulled the switch apart and carefully cleaned the interior light slider switch as it was dirty and had carbon buildup. I put it back together and reintstalled and yeah the lights worked properly. Alternatively you can buy a new switch from store or parts yard
You see the cars these days are riged to be always hot but require a ground to connect. The carbon buildup on slider switch was grounding the lights to always on. Free 20 minute fix.
Try jumping the drivers and passenger side door switches -jeff
