2007 aston martin db9 volante jump start battery

I need to jumpstart the battery. the owners manual is in the trunk and the trunk won't open. I know that the battery is under the rear passenger seat but there is only one terminal (-) to put the jumper onto.

I need to know either where to put the positive jumper cable, or how to get into the truck so that I can access the owner's manual

I own a 2014 Aston Martin db9 Volante. I had the top opened in the half way position for more than 10 minutes (didn’t know you can’t do that). Had to manually close it. Now it reads: Roof Failure and Roof...

If James Bond can't help you, I'd suggest trying the Aston Martin Owner's Club website, as this is a common problem. I"ve had similar issues with one of my Bentleys.

How to open the trunk if my car's battery is dead - aston martin dbs carbon edition 2012

Hi Wly, Jump the battery with one from another vehicle. If the battery is in the trunk there should be a jump connection under the hood. Never having seen one of these vehicles I don't know where, but I'm sure you can fin it. Connect the batteries positive to positive, negative to negative and then start up, but before disconnecting turn on the lights and the climate fan to full. If its the hard top also turn on the heated rear window. This is to alleviate the possibility of a surge damaging the control systems of the car....You may like to pass my home and let me have a drive? maybe not, I live in Africa! Regards John

Trunk will not open because of a power failure on a db9 2006

I assume by power failure you mean a dead battery?
If so, open bonnet and connect jump cables to +ve terminal at front left hand side of engine bay and the earth cable to the engine mounting taking care not mark the alloy. Allow the battery to charge from the donor vehicle for at least 10 mins before inserting your fob. Take car for a 20min drive to recharge battery. If you need to get to battery for any reason, it lives under the right rear passenger seat. Leather seat is atached with velcro, removing it reveals a cover secured by 10mm bolts, underneath is battery.

Martin
