Hi!!
Look ion the INSTRUMENT PANEL Fuse Box, there are two blower motor relays and two fuses, look on the inside of the relay cover for a diagram. The relay you are looking for should be labeled FRONT BLOWER MOTOR RELAY and the rear one should say AUXILIARY BLOWER MOTOR RELAY.
The TWO fuses with the same name on passenger compartment fuse box check:

  • fuse #39 30A fuse. AUXILIARY BLOWER MOTOR
  • fuse #36 30A fuse. AUXILIARY BLOWER RELAY

I am trying to figure out which relay is for the - 1kbron_60.gif

Where is the Blower motor relay on a 2002 Ford Econoline E150, and how do you change it so both the front and rear blower motors work on all 3 speeds?

There would be two relay's , one for front an one for the back . And the relay would be for high speed only . And it just so happens there are two AUX blower motor relay's .

Rear A/C does not work. it will not come on, front works fine but rear does not do anything, front driver control turned to rear pass operation NADA,front control turned for driver control NADA, cannot...

since you know where the blower motor relay is for the rear, have someone turn on the switch while you touch the relay. if you feel a click then the relay is good an trying to turn the rear blower on. that would mean you have a bad blower motor or bad blwer motor resistor for the rear unit.

Have lost fan to heatr and ac...where is the fuse box or diagram?

1. Does the Blower work on High (or #4) only? If so then it is not the Front Blower Motor or the Relay that is bad, but it is the Resistor which is located behind the Glove box. Follow step #a. below and take out the Glove Box to access. It has 3 to 4 wires going into it. The wiring path is: Switches to the Resistor and then to the Motor.
2. The Front Blower Motor Relay is located in the IPM - Fuse and Relay Center. It is located in a box within the engine compartment. However: (restated) IF the Blower does only work on High then this Relay is good and you should only replace the Resistor Only. The Identification and Location of the Relays and Fuses is located on the back side (inside) of the IPM cover. Remove the cover. The Front Blower Motor Relay is the same Type (size and shape) as several other Relays in the panel. Switch out the Front Blower Motor Relay with a non-engine operation Relay for a function that you know works. Recheck the operations of both functions. If the Front Blower Relay now works and the other function now does not work, it was the Relay was bad and needs to be replaced.
a. Disconnect the Negative Cable from the Battery and wait at least two (2) minutes to deactivate the Airbag Sensors.
b. Remove the Glove Box.
c. Disconnect the Electrical Connection.
d. Unbolt/Unscrew the bolts/metal screws and remove the Resistor.
Installation is reverse of above.
