Transmission slipping and leaking fluid

If the RPM Flairs, then the transmission is slipping
& has to be rebuilt or replaced

If your saying it just takes time to get going,
then the exhaust converter is blocked or you
have very little fuel pressure

Has the fuel pressure been checked, should be 42-46 PSI under a load.

Most likely it's a hose come loose or ruptured. It sounds like, from your description, that's where the PS pressure line connects to the rack and pinion. If it's leaking that bad, it's a big break in the hose, or it came completely off where it goes into the steering unit. It's a pretty difficult job to replace it due to cramped working area.

The transmission fluid goes into the same tube that you pull the dip-stick out of. You will need a long narrow funnel to add new fluid.

No it won't, The 1995 has OBD I diagnostics, 1996 and up have OBD II.

patch it with a high pressure hose and two clamps

i dont remember the 95 caddy with pressure monitors id say try your valve stems or the valves themselves to make sure that they are tight. replace any stem caps that are missing.

This code means there has been excessive slip in the transmission, possibly due to lack of fluid.

Check the fluid level by warming up the car then check the dipstick with the engine still running.

Or....you may have a faulty vehicle speed sensor (VSS) located on the output shaft transmission casing.
