Have a oxygen sencor and dont know were to put it in at thanks....

On 1991 Honda Accord 2.2L FI 4cyl the Oxygen Sensor is located under hood, center, front engine area, mounted in exhaust manifold (Except EX model).




A special socket is used to remove the oxygen sensor. Note the slot cut into the side of the socket.

well i dont know what year is but the crank position sensor is locate it behind crank pulley in order to have acces to the sensor you ne to remove the pulley first. Note when the crank sensor is bad there should be no fire at your sparks. before keep spending more money dont know if you checked for gas coming to the engine.

the idle is controlled by many different sensors on a computerized vehicle, some are oxygen sencor, water temp sensor or map sensor,, you really need to have the car put on a computer scanner. This in a long run will save you money by fixing whats wrong instead of just changing parts that may not fix it.

it could be your oxygen sencor went out if the car stubles at higher rpms but most likely your have a problem in your linkage to your transfer case i dont know if this model has electro shift or manual i assume on the fly shifting as most now a days do but poor engine preformance can lead to a mess of troubles when it comes to the tranny and drivetrain

by the sounds of it you should change your oxygen sencore located on the exhaust manifold it looks like a long plug with a wire hanging off the end of it

look inder the car at the exhaust manifold there should be one right before it goes inder the car and another just past the catalytic converter, if its not there just trace your exhaust system and they will be plugged right into the pipe

O2 sensors indicate unburned oxygen in the exhaust sysytem. Bad O2 sensors causes fuel mixture to run rich. It causes fuel consumption and your emmissions test will not pass. Check for vacuum leaks check the manifold.check for a misfiring cylinder, a burned exhaust valve that is leaking compression. replace the O2 sensor or sensors. Some cars have 2 . One for the intake another for the out take. If it reads a code for the Map sensor along with the O2. It is better ifyou replace both sensors. But I think that the problem lies in the oxygen sensor or sensors. Pleae vote my answer if this helps.
