Location of distributor bmw 535i is it easy to access?

6 years different and a different series? If only life was that easy!

Some BMW have a mechanical pump driven by the serpentine belt, and some have an totally electric powered pump.

Just buy one for the model you have.

there won't be a seperate fuse for this light so check the rear lights fuse but i would epect it to be the bulb or a loose wire , check owners manual for the fuse locations

It is very easy to replace the battery. It is located in the trunk.
however, you would have to take your car to BMW to reset the car since you have put a new battery in the vehicle.

If Im not mistaken the battery is under the rear seat bottom on the passenger side of the car there should be a release handle or a access panel that will allow you to move the seat bottom to get to the battery. hope this gives you sopme help.

Quite easy job.

Locate top radiator hose, follow it to the engine, undo the hose. What it is connected to is the thermostat housing. Undo 2-3 bolts connecting it to the engine block. Lift out the thermostat which is a diamond shaped unit.

Replace it with a new one. And refit the pipe. You might need to bleed the radiator in case of any air bubbles. Run the car with the radiator cap off. Top up the coolant level until the fan kicks in twice (20 mins).

Try looking under the rear passenger seat, grip rear seat and give it a sharp tug, slide seat forward.
