Hi yes...please follow in this order, also mark each bolt head with a line you can see as stage 3 most people mess up and its the important one to get right, leave 5 to 10 minuets between each stage as streching the bolts in one go can snap them ( i will point out that is verry rare, but try avoid this) hope this helps

stage 1 44nm
stage 2 59nm
stage 3 turn 90 degrees

Hi.. May i know hyundai atos 1.0cc conrod torque

Yes, I can help you with the cylinder head torque wrench setting for your Hyundai Atos 1.0cc. Here are the torque specifications:

First pass: Tighten all bolts to 18 lb-ft (25 Nm)
Second pass: Tighten all bolts to 45 lb-ft (61 Nm)
Third pass: Tighten all bolts to a final torque of 65 lb-ft (88 Nm)
It's important to tighten the bolts in the correct sequence. The sequence is as follows:

10 6 2 3 7
9 5 1 4 8

Note: The numbers above refer to the cylinder head bolts in the correct sequence. Always use a calibrated torque wrench to ensure that the bolts are tightened to the correct specification.

I hope this helps you with your cylinder head installation. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to ask.

HEAD TORQUE AND SPECS FOR A 2001 HONDA ACCORD 2.3L

Tighten the cylinder head bolts. Tighten the cylinder head bolts is sequence to 29 Nm (3.0 kgf-m, 22 ft. lbs.). Use a beam-type torque wrench. When using a preset type torque wrench, be sure to tighten slowly and do not overtighten. If a bolt makes any noise while you are torquing it, loosen the bolt and retighten it. Make sure the threads are clean, new heads bolts are best.

Hi i'm eduardo and i have a '94 nissan pathfinder 4wd...engine 3.0.... i want to know the head torque specifications .

Hi Eduardo:
Check this information (click over pics for zoom)...

Install the cylinder head with a new gasket. Apply clean engine oil to the bolt threads and seats, then install the bolts with washers (beveled edges up) in the correct position. Note that bolts 4, 5, 12 and 13 measure 5.00 in. (127mm), and are longer than the others. The other bolts are 4.17 in. (106mm) long.

Tighten the bolts in the proper sequence, in the following stages:
Tighten all bolts, in order, to 22 ft. lbs. (29 Nm).
Tighten all bolts, in order, to 43 ft. lbs. (59 Nm).
Loosen all bolts completely.
Tighten all bolts, in order, to 22 ft. lbs. (29 Nm).
Tighten all bolts, in order, to 40-47 ft. lbs. (54-64 Nm). Or, if you have an angle torque wrench available, tighten them an additional 60-65 degrees.

Hope this helps; remember to rate this answer. Good luck.

Hi can you tell me the torque setting for the cylinder head on a 1995 C200 Mercedes W202 series Thanks Ken

if this is a aluminum head it will be a torque to yeild. you will need brand new head bolts and a torque to yeild wrench, torque to yeild is not a set value but the stretching point of the bolt, wich a torque to yeild wrench will tell you when the bolt is starting to stretch then you stop and torque is achieved. often the starting torque is approx 30pds then you go back through with the torque to yeild wrench. if it has a cast iron head it will have a set value determined by the manufacture which on this car i do not know off hand. I hope i at least led you in the right direction

Torque settings

  1. Tighten the cylinder head bolts sequentially in three steps. NOTE: Perform each step twice. 1st step torque: 39 Nm (4.0 kgf-m, 29 ft. lbs.) 2nd step torque: 69 Nm (7.0 kgf-m, 51 ft. lbs.) 3rd step torque: 98.1 Nm (10.0 kgf-m, 72.3 ft. lbs.) Use a beam-type torque wrench. When using a preset-type torque wrench, be sure to tighten slowly and not to overtighten. If a bolt makes any noise while you are torquing it, loosen the bolt, and retighten it from the first step.
