Thank you very much for your response, The computer reset itself over night. I took it into the shop today to see the battery needed to be replaced, the car has 74K on it. It didn't need to be replaced. I am glad for that!

Hello, I have a 2003 navigator 5.4, 2 days ago warning light came on said check charging system (battery is only 6 months old), then last night went to store and when I came out truck wouldn't

your battery is so dead and or shorted it won't allow enough current to keep the truck running it could be a wire ground or positive not allowing enough current take the battery back to the place of purchase and have it tested it should be under warranty.I wouldn't try to start it by jumping it anymore try a fresh hot battery I think it will fix it

2010 prius master warning light on after jump starting. Never came on prior to juming the car

run fault codes to check for damage done when jumping the battery as a surge will blow the ECM/CPU. If no codes then use the code reader to reset the light.

1999 GL New Beetle wouldn't start at 7:30am after parking it at 11:30pm the night before. New battery two days ago. All dash lights came on. Was cold last night, but mechanic was able to start it yesterday...

Sounds like high resistance in the starter circuit wiring. You should check resistance between the starter and battery, with the battery DISCONNECTED, and ensure that the number is pretty low anything more than a few ohms is too high for this connection.

No start

battery is bad! check this: when car is running the battery voltage should be at least 14.3 volts or a little higher. when engine is off battery voltage should be at least 13 volts, if the voltage going into battery is below 14 volts when running then alternator is bad. if it is ok then battery needs replaced,

Battery on a porsche boxster is dead will not start up

If the battery is VERY dead it may take quite a while jump start the car. You may have to run the car with the good battery for five or ten minutes to get enough charge in the old battery to start the car. Other wise a very dead battery will just "soak up" the electricity from the good battery. If your battery was old to begin with it may be unserviceable. I would take the battery out and take it to an auto parts store that can charge and test it. They will usually do this for free.

Battery dies in extremely cold weather

Sounds to me like you have a weak batt. also if you rear lights are sticking on some times that could drain it
