It may be the motor starting to go also. There is no need to worry about the resistor. The resistor would only be bad if the motor only opereated on one speed, normally high. The resistor does just that it causes resistance in the blower circut to reduce the speed from high.

expedition third row seat will not go up. The fuses are good. Both
motors would not have gone out at the same time. Do you know where any
breakers or relays are?
