Here is a picture of the egr valve for your blazer. http://www2.partstrain.com/store/?Ntt=EGR%20Valve&N=9968%201588%204294967265
Quite pricey. As for changing it out I would head to your local library and seek out their online car repair sources. Be sure to take a jump drive or a floppy disk to take the documents back home with you. From your home print out the proper techniques as well as torque specs for the removal and replacement of the egr valve. Good luck.

My 1994 s10 blazer was runing fine then started missing and surging now when try starting it turns over fine one time then like out of time will start then die

the one possible problem is the egr valve. If your blazer has the Vortec 4.3, the valve is located on the front of the intake manifold. You must remove the intake rubber boot on the throttle body to see it better. It's very possible that there is chunks of carbon holding the valve open. I recommend cleaning the egr valve ( carb. cleaner works great ) and replacing the Egr gasket with a screened gasket. This will take care of it stalling and surging.

I have a chevy blazer 94 S10 still quit on the road.

How is it running before it quits onyou. This could be the culprit of an egr valve. How many miles on thevehicle. The egr seems to die on a certain mileage pattern. Also youcould start by cleaning the egr valve before replacing it. This couldvery well help the situation, but this is just a guess. Hope thishelps!!

Where is the egr located on a 1994 chevrolet s10 blazer 4.3 Vortec? Usually the egr valve is easy to see. Why can't I see it on the blazer? Thanks Jeff

It is beneath the air intake connected to the upper intake, that's probably why you can't see it. The manufacturers don't make things easy.

My 94 s10 4.3 vortec was running very rough

Hello;
Make sure the distributor wires are hooked up and making a goodconnection at the base of the distributor. Also make sure the coil wire is fully in the socket. Make sure no wires got pinched for the relays. Hope this helps;
Thanks;
