My 2004 Pontiac grand am se1 acts like door is open and interior light stays on also does t lock on its own when in gear and lights don't blink and horn not honk when locking with key bob

Door ajar switch problem more then likely or wiring issue . The BCM - body control module won't turn off interior light , let door lock because it think's the door is open . The door ajar switch is a input to the BCM .

The first thing would be to have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Also check with an enhanced scan tool to see if the BCM shows ajar switch data (open or closed ? Do you know about body electronics ?

On my Audi 96 A6 my locks don't work and it locked my gas tank cover before it went out, is there a way to open in manually, otherwise I can't even drive it to the shop because I unknowingly ran it out of...

Is the remote control for the locks just not working? If the doors are unlocked, the trunk and cas tank cover should be unlocked as well. I have a slightly later model, but that's how it works with mine. Are you saying that you can manually open the doors with the key, but when you do, it doesn't unlock the gas door like normal? If so ,there's a manual pull tab in the trunk to open the gas tank flap on the same side of the trunk as the gas tank flap. After it's open, you can of course close the gas lid flap again, but it won't lock again if the auto-locking system isn't working. You'll have to get the dealer to replace the motor if it's gone out. This should get you in the gas tank for now though. Good luck!

2 Problems.Turn signal arm will not reset.Fuel gage is always on

there is a clicker thing that cuts the switch off when you turn the wheel it must be broken. Fuel gauge is controlled by the sending unit in the gas tank. thats a pain to replace, not to mention having to breathe gas fumes the whole time you do it. some cars you have to pull the tank and others you just have to take out the back seat and pull off a panel.
