The problem I am having is intermittent. The flashers are completely out on the turn signal stick, and washer fluid pump works sometimes. Also the wipers themselves are not working at times. What do you suggest I do to begin troubleshooting or replacing any Parts. Thank you

Hello. I think you have a faulty turn signal switch; the wiper/washer, low/high beam headlamp, windshield washer delay etc. circuits are all controlled by this switch. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.
If the wipers work on normal setting, would not be a relay problem. The intermittent wipers and the washer motor are separate issues-if all on the same stalk, it is probably a bad switch. Hot wire the washer motor with jumper wires to check motor operation. The motor is probably mounted on the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir. Good luck.
You say it's the right turn signal that is malfunctioning. If the left works correctly, then the problem is most likely NOT the flasher unit. That unit provides the flash for both left and right signals. I think that flasher unit is mounted on your steering column, down under the dash. It will probably be an aluminum cylinder, but may be a rectangular black plastic block. Before you change the flasher unit, I'd suggest checking the front and rear turn signal light bulbs. On the front, those are the parking light bulbs, and on the rear are the stop light bulbs. You may have a poor connection, probably from corrosion, or the bulb is very nearly burned out completely. Good luck.
The emergency flasher switch is also the turn signal flasher It pops out of the dash and can be replaced easy. do chaeck the fuses before going to this much troble. check all the fuses as some work backup circuits that you wouldn;t think would be important. Before replacing the flasher switch ( you may only be able to buy it from the dealer) work the switch several times and the flashers will come on cheak to see if allthe lights work thenturn the flashers off and see ( with the key on if the turn signals now work. Now if during the test with the four way flashers you see a bulb or more out you know that the turn signals wouldn't work, but the four ways will. they work on different fuses so chak the turnsignal fuse too. after cycling the switch try the turn signals again as the switch is likly to stick and sometimes cycling it will get the turn signals working again. Fooling around with the switch you may find a position that the turn signals work. if you can't get it to stay working then you'll have to change the flasher emergency switch.
It sounds like your multifunction switch is faulty and will need to be replaced. The multifunction switch is a combination of your signal and wiper/washer switches all in one unit and is not servicable and is replaced as a whole unit .
now when you say flashers work, I'm assuming you mean the 4 ways or Emergencys. As to the intermittent left signal working, I would first inspect both front and rear bulb sockets for corrosion and bulb condition. (Replace the Bulb, you can then rule it out). Clean and reinstall. If your problem persists, I would suspect your multi-switch contacts or connectors (Turn Signal Arm/Stick on the column)
Check and see if your hazards switch are not sticking..The flasher is right under the steering column..Turn blinker on with engine off and you'll be able to follow the clicking noise from the flasher.Just hopefully it doesnt stop before you investigate where it is..Hope this helps you and good luck..and have a great day...
