Air to fuel issues

My x-type recently began stuttering and stalling when just under 1/4 of a tank of fuel. I has happened mostly when going up hills and the car won't start until I get on level ground. Diagnostic code P111 appeared to be the issue sighting an air to fuel problem. I am trying to find out what part in the car this relates to. Any suggestions?

This could come from your ECU, your gas line or who knows what. There are so many parts in jags its almost impossible to find the exact problem, which is why the **** at Jag have to decided to completely replace things instead of trying to fix them. Good Luck.

Hyundai Trajet 2.7 V6 fuel leaking under vehicle and engine stalling.

MOVE THE CAR FAR AWAY FROM HOUSES AND KIDS AND PEOPLE NOW. PRONTO

NO YEAR CAR TOLD OR COUNTRY . 2.7L OKAY.
WRECKING THE CANISTER LIKE THAT IS SUPER BAD.
THAT CAUSES HUGE GAS TANK PRESSURES FOR GO CRAZY HIGH. THE CAR IS DANGER TO YOU AND ALL AROUND YOU
NOW. IT WILL CATCH FIRE, AND IT WILL NOT BE A HAPPY DAY.
GLAD I AM FAR FROM YOU.

RAW LIQUID FUEL COMES TO THE CANISTER ONLY 2 WAYS.
THE BAD BOY THAT DID THAT ACT
OR OVERFILLING THE GAS TANK.
OR BOTH, I BET BOTH. (OR HOSE ON THE TANK BOYBOY WRECKED THOSE TOO)
FIND A REAL SHOP TO FIX ALL THAT OR HAVE BAD FIRE.
IF SOMEONE DRIPS A CIG NEAR YOUR CAR IT WILL NOT BE FUN. EVER.
EVAP 101
Nomally the tank is never full, ever. by design at the filler the station pump clicks off at full , do not overfill any cars tank.
at that moment the tank has and air space on top, and only fumes are there, not gas.
these fumes are sent to a check valve (evap) to the canistor
and it collects only fumes never ever gas, raw, and if did the raw gas wrecks the canister carbon brick inside.
when you run the engine the engine vacuum sucks the fumes out of Mr. canister and it is now fresh and clean, and repeats.

your car is now HACKED and unSAFE.
find a shop to UN HACK it.

My 1995 dodge ram 1500 will bottom out going up hills. When you accelerate at about 2.5 rpms it drops out and won't gain any power

Your fuel pump is not being supplied with adequate fuel pressure to deliver to your engine on an incline because of an obstruction in the fuel tank that changes from level to inclined. I have seen this on many vehicles over 15 years old mostly from rust, debris, and just plai bad gas. Have the fuel tank removed, cleaned and a new "Fuel Sock" (a sort of filter device made of a wire mesh) installed and the fuel lines blown out from front to rear. This should give you plenty of get up and go no matter what the angle your vehicle is in.

What could cause the car to stutter when under load going up hill.

It sounds to me like a passing gear issue. Or even and Over Drive issue. Try this to find out. When you put the car in gear, instead of O/D, try regular drive. If you have a push button O/D then deactivate it. If you only have Drive, then try shifting into 3. Run the car up to the same speeds you were having problems with. If you don't have the issues with the higher RPM's then it is an Overdrive/Highway gear issue. If it still stutters, then it could be a fuel delivery issue. Good luck.

Have a 02 Chevy Suburban it has stalled out a couple of times in past few weeks mainly when i try to accelerate when either going up a hill or onto an entry ramp to the freeway. It even happened when I...

its possible it could be the fuel pump have the pressure and the fuel volume checked with a gage and see how much the pump can pump gas in about 15-20 seconds, and compare to specs.

The car is starting to stall and i have to floor the gas to get it t smooth out

There are 3 potential issues with this; A- Dirty injectors, B- Tank Fuel pump is not putting out, C- MAF Sensor is bad.
Does this happen more when you're on a hill? Does this happen when your gas tank is 1/4 full?
What type of mileage do you have on vehicle?

Car stutters/stalls when low on fuel

the fuel pump and probably the fuel tank is going to need to be removed and inspected. it is very probable that the fuel pump hose in the module assembly has come apart or loose. i would suspect that you have just recently purchased the vehicle or had fuel system work performed. the reason it would work this way is because when the fuel is at a certain level then it sucks like a complete straw, but have you ever had a straw break and the soda got low? all of the sudden you start sucking air right? same thing. now unfortunately the tank does have to be "dropped" as opposed to finding an axcess cover. i trust this will be a stepping stone in the resolution of your problem. cheers!
