Pop open the hood of your Grand Prix and prop it open with the rod. Locate the battery under the hood and find the "-" symbol, indicating the negative battery terminal.
If this does not work then locate the fuel pump fuse in dashboard and check all fuses to make sure they are not damaged or broken.
The fuel filter is located under the car on the driver side, between the front and back door.
Your fuel pressure should be 53-59 p.s.i. Change your fuel filter first and see if it goes up. But like you suspect it is likely your pump. The pump is an assembly with the gage sender included is around $485 retail.
