Thermostat Where is the thermostat located in a 1996 nissan sentra 1.6 DE

Here are the steps of oil change in Nissan
1)Disconnect the cable from a battery from the negative battery terminal.
2)Eliminate the items on the oil box
3)Disconnect the gasket from the valve cover
4)Clean the chum surfaces of the valve cover and the engine head
5)Put the oil filler to the point of oil whole
6)Now add oil to this filler until it is full.

Hola tengo un problema tengo un nissan BAYALFFB13SW14/1996
NUMERO DE SERIE DEL MOTOR GA16 ME INDICA EL MECANICO QUE SE MALOGRO EL ENCENDIDO EN FRIO SI ME PUDIERAN AYUDAR COMO SOLUCIANARLO O SI PUEDEN CONSEGUIR EL REPUESTO .

A 1996 Sentr's water temp monitoring system is (I think) electrical, so have an electrician check your temperature gauge, thermostat, and all the wiring involved to find out which is working, then have the defective part replaced.

oh, a sentra is the bottom hose, follow that to engine you will see the housing it has 2 or 3 nuts holding it to the block, good luck,

lOOK BEHIND THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT. Compartmet is probabily plastic and all you have to do is push in real hard to get them past dash board.

Find the big hose that comes out of the top of the radiator and follow it to the engine and that is where the thermostat is located. My advice is to be sure to get a factory thermostat and rubber gasket as it makes installation much easier. I have done it both ways and the factory one is easier to install.
