Bumper bar? Skirt?
There is a bumper reinforment behind the bumper cover.
Front or rear???
Either way there are some plastic retainers on top. You may need to remove a grill which would have some sort of retainer. The retainers usually have a center section that prys up some and the retainer will then pull out.
There should also be some retainers on the undersides of the bumper covers.
There is just about always a bolt going up through the bumper cover into the rear quater panel or front fender right in the wheel well edge. Sometimes there is a guide that the cover slide onto as well. You may need to remove the tail lights. There will be nuts on the inside behind the trim panels or the headlights. they usually have some clearly seen bolts holding them in (about 4 give or take)
Unplug any lights and they can usually be left in the bumper cover.
Then off comes the cover.
From there you may find a styrofoam pad. Don't lose that as it helps the cover keep its shape in the heat. And either the reinforment will be bolted or welded to the frame rails.
Look inside the trunk you will find the bolts under some groomets, get under rear fenders and remove the plasitc covers and remove the bolts for the sides and you will remove it.
there are plastic covers directly on top of you lug nuts remove with four way or socket clockwise direction these plastic caps will screw off releasing wheel cover. then remove lugs.
Usually the tail light can be accessed through the trunk. You might have to remove the inside cover or rear carpeting to access the light. Some have plastic wing nuts that secure the light to the body. The bulb holder may be visible with the cover off.
you can heat the bumper heat gun ( you can rent one i think?)
this will soft the bumper so you push it out easily on the car
1. inside your trunk remove small back clips in trim panel 2. remove tail lamp four 8mm nut perside unplug wires 3. remove black clips under tail lamps ( flat head screwdriver to pull center of the clip up slowly then remove the hole clip) 4. three if the some clips are bottom if the bumper 5. three or four 10mm nuts in side the quarter panel on the right and left side 6.four s shape clips are top bumper that will pull loose 7. with some help slide bumper by pulling it off it 8. when you reinstall the bumper you may need to tape the strophereinforcement in place
