My car revs goes upto 1.5 or 2000 rpm when i start it first time in the day and make lot of noise and ive noticed that when i switch my car headlights on...the revs drop down and car shakes. The other problem i have is that my car rolls a lot when take turns or overtaking ...it does left and right body rolling......and engine tempets are making lot of noise then normal idle sound of petrol engine.

Check the computer on the car it may be programmed to run still on 2 K rpm you need to reprogram the computer on your car.......

yes bad ecu. exat same thing happened to a freind of mine he replaced maf, coolant sensor, distributor all that came trough check engine light. and still the same and chugged gas like crazy and fans were o always. i swapped his ecu with mine n car ran perfect. so he got new ecu and here he is driving happily to this day.

it was a 96 galant 2.4 sohc with around 75,000 miles.

Stop driving and check your transmission fluid right away. you probably have a leak or a blocked valve body. if the fluid is up what does it smell like? and what color is it? If it sticks like burnt toast or is a dark opaque colour then get it to a shop before you get stranded somewhere.
If the fluid is up and clear pink then just schedule an appointment to get the fluids and filter changed by a trans shop , not Mr. Lube. a real trans shop. Hope this helps
