For 2007 Audi A6 depending on the engine type, there are two placements for cabin air filters: 1. The cabin air filters are placed on the right bottom side of the central console - passenger side, for 2007 Audi A6 Avant. Remove the carpet and behind the plastic cover are cabin filters. When installing new filters see for the correct position - air flow is indicated by an arrow. See pictures below:
2. For the second placement, besides you need to remove the glove box for access and replace cabin air filters. Check first your car situation. Audi A6 2,5 TDI 5 cil is a great car. The engine is one of Audi's most tested engines. But models before '96 will rust quite a bit, if you dont look af it. So look for rust and be sure that the drive-belt is replaced in time.
