I had the same problem with my accord years ago and it turned out to be that the ignition module would die whenever it got hot and then start working again when it cooled off. It is located inside the distributor and costs a bit less than a whole new distributor. I changed the entire distributor, to be sure all the ignition components were new and would not fail again for a while.
Are you sure that there is no spark, have you checked with a timing light? Are the wires on the coil connected correctly? Is the ignition module plugged in correctly and are all the wires on the distributor tight and correctly located? Try another ignition module from a system that is known to be working.
Remove distributor cap, crank engine, see if distributor rotor turned, if it don't turn, bad timing belt, replace, if it does turn, more then likely, ignition control module, if timing belt bad. made br will help you to set in bad on timing, when replacing timing belt, hope this was very helpful.
not sure about timing. whaddya mean not sure? remove distributor cap. have someone crank it. if the rotor in the distributor isn't turning, you've got a busted timing belt, maybe bent valves, i'm not sure if it's a non-interference engine. Timing belt $800. bent valves=new car.
turn ignition key on to the run posistion engine light should come on then go out within 5 seconds. if it doesn't the main relay for the computer or the computer itself are .bad
