Does the brake light stay on after letting go of the brake? If so, the brake switch is right near the brake pedal

It took about 15 minutes to take the switch out and install the new one. It fixed the problem. Thanks!

Hello

The break light switch is down under the dash. Follow the brake pedal up and your hand will hit it. Release the tabs and slowly pull the connector out and the lights should turn off.

have a great weekend.

Your brake light switch is right above the brake pedal.it is a little plastic part with a little button coming out of the tip of it with wires pluged into it.you should be able to pull it out with a god tug and wiggle with your hand.

91 Buick Century 2.5 L brake light on & battery light on

For the Brake light to stay on and the fluid is up...sounds like your sensor is playing dead......

For the battery to die after only (4) hours..you have a very big drain on the battery itself.....without the vehicle right here to look at would be very hard to even guess...electrical problems are a hands on chore...

I'd take it to your garage/mechainc
