4 - NUT
5 - NUT COVER

What you will need to do is to remove the small plastic cap on the wiper arm by prying it off with a screw driver. Then remove the nut that holds the arm onto the shaft. Then get yourself a battery cable puller (from auto parts store) and pull the arm off of the shaft..

How to replace windwiper motor bushing?

I'am not sure what you mean by the bushing, but I just repaced the wiper motor in my 95 Dakota.
1-remove wiper arms from the pivots.
2-open the hood
3- remove the crowl. there is a line of screws that need to taken out. set the crowl out of the way.
Don't try to remove the motor without removing the crowl. It just won't work.
4- remove the 3 nuts that hold the motor to the firewall.
5 carefully pull out the motor and wiper linkage.
6- remove the nut that hold the linkage onto the motor and remove the linkage. BE CAREFUL you don't want to drop and loose that nut. There is a flat spot on the shaft between the motor and the linkage where a 6" adjutable wrench etc can be put to hold the shaft when taking off the nut.

Follow the above steps in reverse to reinstall. I did use lock tite to make sure the nut doesn't come off the motor shaft.

I installed a new wiper motor. I ran it before installing the wiper arms. it will not stop at zero. it over travels down into the cowling. I try to rest them higher then they stop some where in the middle...

Try to run the motor without the wiper arms tightened down and turn it off so it can cycle down to its rest state. Then install the wiper arms.

Make sure, that the car's windshield wiper wiring is correct for this motor.
